Do You Qualify As a Butt Lift Candidate?

The breasts, hips, and buttocks contribute to the curvaceousness of the female figure. In past decades, plastic surgeons have offered butt augmentation with the use of butt implants. But for various reasons, such as carrying the risk of possible complications and infections, the procedure never quite gained popularity.

The “Brazilian Butt Lift” offers similar recontouring to the traditional butt lift, but without the downsides of a silicone implant. The Brazilian Butt Lift begins with liposuction removing fat from another area of the body. The fat is then harvested and purified, and then injected into the buttocks for an authentic-appearing enhancement.

Ideal Butt Lift Candidates

To be considered an ideal candidate for the Brazilian Butt Lift, a patient must have a fair amount of fat in such places as the hips, waist, abdomen, lower back, and legs. Good candidates also have buttocks that are not extremely thinned out or sagging, but are also not overly large. In these cases, a traditional butt lift procedure or liposuction alone may produce better results. There are also anatomical factors that Dr. Taranow will assess in order to determine the likelihood of a good outcome.

Butt Lift Recovery

Butt lift recovery lasts for a minimum of three weeks. You will have to refrain from sitting for at least two weeks and wear a compression garment for several more weeks. Bruising will subside within three weeks, but the swelling may continue for two to three months.

Butt Lift Results

Dr. Taranow’s sophisticated liposculpture techniques produce natural-feeling, long-lasting butt augmentation results. And because the Brazilian Butt Lift entails an autologous fat transfer you’ll simultaneously benefit from reduced fat in other problem areas.
