Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentationis the surgical enhancement or enlargement of the breasts to give a more curvaceous silhouette. The implants are placed through tiny incisions in your armpit (transaxillary) or under the areola (nipple) and produce breasts that are larger, rounder and more fuller while maintaining a natural appearance.

Dr. Taranow is one of only 17% of plastic surgeons who are trained and routinely perform transaxillary breast augmentation. Every patient is unique and therefore the approach will be different for each patient. During the initial consult Dr. Taranow will discuss the options he feels will provide you with the result you desire.

The surgery is performed in the office and takes about one hour. The patient is able to walk out of the office approximately one hour after surgery and may return to work within three to five days.
